Kaitin Kelly Benedict (she/her) is committed to creating authentic therapeutic relationships and providing compassionate, client-centered care to individuals seeking support and personal growth. She utilizes a holistic, trauma-informed approach grounded in empathy, curiosity, collaboration, and respect for each client’s unique lived experience. Her work is strength-based, socially conscious, and focused on helping clients build resilience, insight, and emotional wellbeing.
Kaitin integrates a variety of evidence-based and relational therapeutic approaches, including mindfulness-based interventions, attachment-focused therapy, psychoeducation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and the Liberation Health Model.
Kaitin has a special interest in working with individuals experiencing tinnitus, hyperacusis, and other sound sensitivity conditions. She collaborates with the Tinnitus & Hyperacusis Clinic in Minnesota to provide integrative, evidence-informed care that addresses both the emotional and neurological impact of these conditions. Kaitin understands how distressing persistent auditory symptoms can be and works with clients to reduce anxiety, build resilience, and improve quality of life using compassionate, trauma-informed approaches tailored to each individual's needs.
Additional clinical interests include grief and loss, chronic and terminal illness, caregiver stress and burnout, parenting children with additional needs, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and overall emotional wellness.
Prior to entering the mental health field, Kaitin worked as a professional dancer and educator, experiences that continue to inform her appreciation for creativity, embodiment, and connection within the healing process. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys yoga, nature walks, writing, and spending time with her children.
Kaitin is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work with a specialization in Behavioral Health through Boston University. She also holds a Master’s degree in Holistic Health Studies from St. Catherine University, where she focused on mind-body-spirit practices and wellness outcomes.
