Jules (they/them) a white, nonbinary transmasc, fat, chronically ill, AuDHDer with misophonia. Their ideal clients are teens and adults navigating misophonia, complex/developmental trauma, dissociation, OCD, and late-discovered ADHD/autism. They work from a systems and feminist perspective, recognizing the importance and impact of one’s primary relationships and social systems on one’s wellness.

Jules has specialized training in EMDR, including advanced training focused on dissociation, DID, and OSDD. Their approach incorporates parts work to help clients develop greater awareness and compassion for the different parts of themselves, particularly those connected to shame or difficult experiences. Jules takes a trauma-responsive and neurodivergent-affirming approach to working with OCD and provides an inclusive, sex-positive space that affirms kink, consensual non-monogamy (ENM), and diverse relationship structures.

Therapy can involve difficult and deeply personal work, but Jules believes it can also include humor, curiosity, creativity, and genuine collaboration. They strive to create a therapeutic relationship where clients feel supported enough to explore difficult experiences, better understand themselves, and develop new ways of relating to themselves and others. Jules views the therapeutic relationship as an important foundation for meaningful growth and lasting change.

Jules practices under the supervision of Nicole Carreon, LMFT.
