Meg Nohner, LPCC Intern
Meg is drawn to working with adults navigating trauma and complex trauma, grief and loss, anxiety and depression, attachment and relationships, and significant life transitions.
Meg’s approach makes room for nuance, complexity, and the conversations that may feel difficult to bring into the therapy room, including those around sexuality, identity, and shame. At the heart of her work is curiosity about what has shaped each person into who they are today, alongside respect for who they are still becoming and what they want for themselves. Grounded in person-centered and trauma-informed care, Meg draws on both depth and practical tools based on the needs of each client.
Prior to entering the counseling field, Meg spent more than a decade in business and also brings experience as a mental health crisis responder, supporting people through a wide range of mental health crises in the community. She is a trained yoga teacher and self-proclaimed nerd who believes depth and humor can coexist in the therapy room. Meg is committed to creating a space where people across identities, lived experiences, and neurotypes feel welcome to bring all of who they are.
Meg is pursuing her M.A. in Counseling and Psychological Services on the LPCC track at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and is supervised by Nicole Carreon, LMFT.
